"Universal Background Check” means that all private gun transfers would go through licensed gun dealers (Federal Firearms Licensees, FFLs). That means the government would know the identity of everyone who has guns, and WHICH guns they have — in other words, universal registration, which has always led to confiscation.
But FFLs are not legally obligated to do all gun transfers, because they assume civil liability for each one.
If enough FFLs and 2nd Amendment supporters get the boycott message, we can stop the Universal Background Check/Registration/Confiscation plan. |
